Dr. Dirajen Pullay Marday is the founder and Managing Director of Building and Facilities Contracting Ltd. He brings internationally recognised qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration (MBA, DBA), Chartered Management (CMgr MCMI), Certified Facilities Management (CIWFM), and corporate governance (MIoD). He leads all client relationships, project direction, quality assurance, and business development for BFC Ltd. He also serves as Managing Director of sister company Building and Facilities Solutions Ltd (BFS Ltd), overseeing facilities management delivery across the group.
Mr. Nicolas serves as Site Manager for both Building and Facilities Contracting Ltd (BFC Ltd) and Building and Facilities Solutions Ltd (BFS Ltd), bringing over three decades of veteran, hands-on expertise in large-scale construction and high-end fit-out works. Throughout his distinguished career, he has successfully steered complex structural developments and intricate interior transformations from breaking ground to final handover. As Site Manager across both companies, Nicolas masterfully orchestrates and coordinates all on-site operations, seamlessly synchronizing multi-trade teams, specialized subcontractors, and engineering personnel.
Mr. Ashil Eranah is a qualified engineer with numerous years of hands-on experience in building maintenance, MEP systems, and industrial technical operations. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Building Services Engineering. He leads all technical delivery, MEP coordination, and on-site operations for both BFC Ltd and BFS Ltd.
Mr. Kelwyn Pomanah is the on-the-ground Site Supervisor for both BFC Ltd and BFS Ltd, bringing practical, hands-on expertise built over years of working within his family's contracting business. From an early age, he developed a strong working knowledge of civil works, building maintenance, and multi-trade site operations — learning the craft from the ground up. Yes. An annual facilities maintenance contract covers planned preventive maintenance plus reactive call-outs for electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general building fabric, with a single point of contact for the whole site.

Can you handle a one-off project as well as ongoing maintenance?
Yes. We take on single projects such as an office fit-out, a renovation or a relocation, and we also run continuing facilities management and maintenance contracts.
Do you supply technical labour to other contractors?
Yes. We supply skilled technical labour such as electricians, plumbers, welders and carpenters on a daily, weekly or monthly basis to reinforce your own site teams.
Do you handle office moves and relocation?
Yes. We plan and carry out office moves, including furniture dismantling and reassembly, workstation and IT relocation, protective floor and lift protection, plus household moves and furniture logistics.
What is integrated facilities management (IFM)?
Integrated facilities management means one provider is accountable for everything a building needs to run: the hard services such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC and fabric repair, and the soft services such as cleaning, waste, pest control and grounds. Instead of managing several suppliers, you hold one contract, one asset register and one reporting line.
How much does a facilities management contract cost in Mauritius?
It depends on the size of the property, the asset list, how often our teams attend and the response cover you need out of hours. We survey the site first, agree the scope, then quote a fixed monthly figure so the budget is predictable, with any project works quoted separately before they start.
